The cockpit for the CH-47D is finished and has been integrated into the main fuselage. The entire cockpit model ran 420K faces. A large number of 4096 bitmaps were used which included color, specular, and bump. Below are screenshots of the finished cockpit.

(using my trusty, bought and paid for animation and compositing, editing tools).
I’d recommend, for this route, if you do not already have a 3DVision or other stereo setup, just to get some good Anaglyphic Red/Cyan glasses. …
PERSPECTX GOES EXTREME – CH47 ROTOR
July.26.2011 · Posted By - PidiongHere’s my contribution as PerspectX Goes Extreme. I’ve been given the task to model and uv/texture the Rotors of the said aircraft. This particular helicopter has a twin-engine, tandem rotor. The internet provided many references I needed to model the rotor as close to accurate as possible.
